Gov. Pritzker Calls For Climate Action Benchmarks At Keynote Address To Government And Business Leaders In Scotland – CBS2 (Chicago)

Gov. Pritzker's remarks, printed here in full, include, "We have a history of forward thinking in this arena. Just over half a century ago, Illinois was the first U.S. state to establish an environmental protection agency. So it should perhaps be unsurprising that today, in 2021, Illinois is making history—laying claim to some of the most ambitious and equitable climate and clean energy laws in the United States."

Read the book Climategate. The book totally shreds Al Gore’s movie. Unfortunately showing the movie to impressionable school age kids is creating more Greta Thunbergs. Book indicates that GE is a company that will hit it big because of the global warming scam. Interesting that with Biden in the white house GE is now breaking up and one of their divisions will be devoted to energy. I’m guessing Pelosi’s husband already has his buy orders placed.

Normally, I’d have some witty missive regarding the largest swindle in world history, but I’ll let someone more qualified explain it. Frankly, if you want the truth about climate, avoid the climate clerics and head to a geologist, preferably one not dependent on government funding.

You can’t argue with fanatics and dunces. It’s voodoo and juju to consider the past. You must have something to blame for your inability to comprehend. Temperatures go up and temperatures go down; what never changes are the minds of clowns.

Exactly why would the governor of a virtually bankrupt failed state have any credibility on the world stage?
The hypocrisy of the whole Glasgow confab would be laughable if it weren’t so sadly out of touch. Biden’s motorcade comprised 85 vehicles? Many, if not all of which, were spewing carbon. How much carbon was emitted by the private planes transporting participants?
The climate change warriors don’t have to look much past their own behavior to see problems, but, then again, ‘for thee, not for me’ reigns supreme.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
