JB sure does love himself some illegals. He simply can’t get enough.

Might as well let the public defenders represent the illegals. Nobody is getting charged by Kim Foxx so this will give the public defenders something to do, all on the taxpayers dime.

Hey here is an idea. These illegals will no doubt need housing and with the homeless situation the way it is they will add to the problem. However the Washington Post has a solution: Want to Solve the Housing Crisis? Take Over Hotels.Wouldn’t it be great if the Governor’s inherited Hyatt Hotel system was commandeered for housing illegals and homeless. That makes sense to me and he deserves it.

Honorable Governor is quoted in this article: “Everyone should feel safe and secure in the place they call home.” What about us? I haven’t felt even reasonably safe in Chicago for a long time. Nothing the Governor does or proclaims has made anybody safer. Maybe by “safety” he is referring to his chances for re(s)election.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
