This is rich considering many REAL Illinois residents can’t afford to attend U of I and scholarships are nonexistent. Compare neighboring state residents that have plenty of scholarships, and in-state costs that are AT LEAST half of Illinois. There are plenty of families sending kids out of state due to crime, cost and politics despite paying out of state tuition – and it still ends up being less than U of I. The Dems keep wondering why so many HS grads (and then families) leave the state. What idiots.
