Gov. Pritzker vetoes bill that would have allowed new nuclear construction – Capitol News IL

The governor said in a message to lawmakers explaining his veto that he did it “at the request of the leadership team of the Speaker of the House and advocates.” The bill passed in May with three-fifths majorities in both legislative chambers, meaning that if all of the members that voted for it also support an override of the governor’s veto, it still could become law

This is all about Pritzkers 2024 Presidential campaign. He can wear the cloak of climate change green energy purity and most Democrat voters who think that electricity comes from a power outlet in the wall will fall for it.

Just look at the facts, nuclear power has been the most reliable and lowest cost energy source in Illinois; as well a no carbon emissions. .Stupid is as stupid does.

It’s not stupid, they know what they are doing. YOU are the carbon they want to reduce. People will die without reliable energy in today’s world. They know this. And they always see your death, peasant, as the solution to saving Gaia Mother Earth.
