National stories abound this week about the concerted effort by media, the White House and Democratic officials lying to cover up Pres. Biden’s impaired mental capacity. Much of the commentary was sparked by a detailed Wall Street Journal report based on fifty interviews of people in or close to the White House. You can read it here and see that Jennings’ comment above is no exaggeration. The coverup was there from the start, even while Biden was Obama’s vice president.
High among the guilty is one who remained steadfast and outspoken throughout Biden’s term in denying Biden’s impairment and claiming firsthand knowledge that Biden was fine. That’s Gov. JB Pritzker, who served as a Biden proxy during his candidacy.
Among comments Pritzker made:
“I’ve been with the President of the United States many times,” Pritzker said in February. “He is on the ball. The man knows more than most of us have forgotten.”
“Of course,” answered Pritzker when asked in July if Biden was “physically and mentally capable” of serving a second term.”
Pritzker resorted to smearing the special prosecutor who declined to prosecute Biden in part because of his mental condition, saying that a jury would see him as an “elderly man with a poor memory.” That was Robert Hur, an exceptionally well respected career prosecutor who reviewed the evidence and found that Biden had illegally taken possession of classified documents but was too frail to prosecute. “I smell a rat,” said Pritzker after Hur released his report, which included Hur’s conclusions about Biden’s conditions based on a deposition of Biden. “It was extremely unfair,” Pritzker said, for a Trump appointee, originally to the Department of Justice, to offer his own opinions about the mental acuity or age of the president of the United States.” In truth, there’s clearly nothing unfair about a prosecutor citing his reasons for believing that a jury would have found somebody too infirm to convict.
Pritzker even sought to make Biden’s age an asset, arguing that Biden had made age his “friend” and used his years to become “a gem of a human.” He went on: “I’ve thought a lot about why people care so much about age in this coming election, and I want to talk to you about it. We need to stop dismissing concerns about the physical age of a candidate, especially when that concern comes from a young person. Instead, what people are afraid of is the age of the candidates’ ideas,” he said.
The lies and coverup of Biden’s condition had consequences, many of which we may never know, but some of which are now becoming clear, and some are deadly. Biden was so mentally fatigued that he missed a critical phone call from the House Armed Services Committee before the catastrophic US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, the Journal reported. Representative Adam Smith (D-Wash), who chaired the committee at the time, revealed he had tried to contact Biden to warn about the administration’s optimistic public comments on the withdrawal. Based on his extensive work on the issue, Smith believed the process would be far more difficult than White House officials were suggesting and sought to share his findings. “I was begging them to set expectations low,” Smith told the Journal. However, despite his efforts, he was unable to speak directly with Biden.

Pritzker has never expressed a word about Biden’s capacity to serve, even as Democratic Congressmen like Mike Quigley were calling for Biden to drop out.
Some who participated in the coverup are coming clean. Chris Celizza, a former CNN commentator, made a public apology. Even the New York Times admitted this week that “It is hard to imagine that he seriously thought he could do the world’s most stressful job for another four years.” Not Pritzker.
Many of us didn’t need somebody to tell us Biden was incapacitated long ago. Others, however, believed what they were told. They were duped and betrayed.

If the media in Illinois has any chance of being effective (and this possibility is slim and none) it has to stop reporting what Illinois politicians say as being worth anything. They have to begin the story by acknowledging that what was said cannot be imputed to mean anything, and that the politicians actions point in a different direction. Recall that Pritizker has been consistently claiming he is getting Illinois on a good fiscal path. That he is a serial liar on many topics will become obvious to even his most vocal supporters when he has to message the reality that Illinois is broke, and taxes need to go up a lot.
I doubt Jumbo Belly spent much time with him at all. And if he is that incapacitated are his pardons valid? An adult who is not of sound mind and body can’t sign a contract. If Jumbo Belly is going to run for President he needs to hone his lying skills first. Next we’ll hear he’s a specimen of physical fitness and IL media won’t contradict it.

Those who promoted the talking point that Biden was mentally sharp were either complicit in the coverup, or too incompetent to be in the job they held, whether as a reporter or governor. So which is it JB? Complicit or incompetent? There is no other explanation.
Pritzker is a big liar, and his ‘tell’ is when he starts bloviating. Why does it surprise anyone that JB lied about Biden’s mental status? He’s been lying about numerous things since JB took office. My favorite is that he would not sign a district map that wasn’t fair.
Many close to Biden knew about his decline from the start and hid it from the public. There’s a reason Biden rarely took questions from the media if he did not have a teleprompter.

Pritzker was part of the evil cabal that betrayed this country, and nearly got away with it again. Kamala Harris was as unqualified to run this country as was dementia ridden Joe Biden. But what we really need to know is, exactly who was running this country the last four years? We all have our suspicions, but we need substantiated evidence. They got greedy and went too far too quickly, and enough Americans stopped them, this time.
We know how is running the country, a small cabal of policy makers in the White House with Obama consulting with larger decisions behind the scenes.
