Think about Obama for a second, he was President of the united states, you think in those 8 years he would have at least set something up for the south side of Chicago. Purchase some abandoned properties in these neighborhoods and open a few community centers, possibly multiple career centers to teach capentry/electricity or automotive skills centers to the youth of these neighborhoods and help them out. Will any Caucasian folks be allowed to attend? A telling story: the agency I work for opened a workforce training facility as part of a snazzy new larger workforce center in an impoverished South Side nabe. Lori appeared at the facility dedication and also for another visit. Our white staffers were *not* invited to the opening ceremony, or for her other visit…Lori’s security in fact kept them “outside the perimeter” both times. And yes, one of them was our *Executive Director* who spearheaded the whole project…’nuff said…!!! 🙁
