That was the most work these things did in a loooong time. Shouldn’t you mopes make it easier for them. What if one of them hurt their back. Next time just put the boxes by the curb and provide illegals to help with loading.

For some reason, the word, “cockroaches” comes to mind. In other words, CPS graduates.

Looters should be shot. Period. Thats why it was the law for decades. It works and human nature hasnt changed. Until this becomes standard response this wont end.

This looks like the Chicago version of Amazon Prime Days.

One of the thieves looked to be a well dressed woman over 50 yrs old. Very sad to see someone who should be a community example trotting to the open cargo container like a greedy thief.

I was talking with an employee at a Target in the NW burbs after a well-dressed older (late 60s?) gentleman walked away from a self-checkout station without paying for his $230 margarita machine. She told me the older people were worse than the kids when it came to theft. My bet is, those „mature” thieves have Harris/Walz and Hate Has No Home Here signs in their yards.

Brando, Toni, Lil Kim, Judge Tim and JB say this is perfectly acceptable behavior. The voters must agree.

Several? More like two dozen or more. The video is in the link. They show you the evidence and then lie to your face about what it shows. NBC is the worst hack news outlet out there.

NBC tried to emphasize the extensive Metra delays as the newsworthy part of the story.

As someone who endured delays on Metra in the dozen plus years I rode it, Train Robbery would be a new one on me.

I presume this is considered reparations by the perpetrators ?

A couple of questions: How were the thieves operating in full view and on camera for so long before the police arrived? How come the police didn’t block both ends of the alley where the underserved were parked waiting for the loot and capture them all and recover the swag?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
