Why would Pritzker use a veto on political subsidizing of journalism? He wants the media on the public payroll so the press dares not print anything offensive to JB and those that align with him. This means that the media will, in essence, become paid parrots of the JB team and will provide accolades for Pritzker’s Presidential run. They, the paid press, may even anoint sainthood on JB with claims how he saved Illinois tacitly covering up the actual mess Illinois is. A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
