‘Have to be humane to everybody’: Durbin pushes for more support for migrants – WBBM (Chicago)

U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin said federal agencies need to step it up and provide more financial support for migrants, but he also said Chicagoans need to be more understanding of migrants as some have voiced frustrations that the city is helping migrants instead of people who already live here.

Gotta have equity. If residents are falling behind illegals, the only solution is to pay more to residents. Cutting entitlements is a non-starter. Taxpayers: step up and bend over.

Dickie, Dickie, Dickie, please go away.

BTW: please take Ms. Duckworth with you when you go.

Perhaps the two most ignorant and ineffectual politicians around. Both living proof you don’t have to be well-informed or knowledgeable to be in politics.

What a Dick. Getting more money from the federal government is a way to go. Certainly that would help cover some of the costs for this…but dude…its still the tax payer paying. Regardless of whether it is Illinois or nationally. This is stupid and illogical to have ever allowed this out of control illegal immigration to take place and to continue it. Ask the feds for help…but it’s still our money being spent on the is stupidity. Yep…shut and sit down peasant, you are not educated enough to understand the big picture…

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
