How billionaire Pritzkers became key backers of bail reform, ‘gender affirming’ care – New York Post

Since his first election in 2018, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has passed a law enshrining "gender affirming care" and enacted one of the most progressive bail reform measures in the country, which goes into effect in Chicago's increasingly violent Cook County on January 1, 2023. Depending on who you ask, members of the billionaire Pritzker family of Chicago are either the proud descendants of a financial genius who are doing good by funding progressive causes — or a secretive dynasty who now back radical no-bail laws and the transgender movement.

Pritzger family along with the biden family are nothing but criminal enterprises. Adored by democrats as usual yet due to the total stupidity of uninformed voters they are sadly steering the USA Titanic to the inevitable end

Not sure if they are a criminal family, but they are clearly morally bankrupt, as most wealthy families become after three generations of incredible wealth. Normal people around the world, throughout all of history of mankind, have never pushed LGBTQIA+ and Trans stuff, ever. No one would have thought to even do that because it was so insane of a premise. But give a really messed up family (JB’s mother committed suicide when he was young) a lot of money, and they’ll start spending it in really morally bankrupt ways that mess up society.

Such a disgusting family. Unlike the Trump family that exudes class and generosity.

I was borrowing loosely from the Aerosmith song. Might even prompt someone to go to Youtube and look up Shakira doing the song at the music awards. She was fine back in the day.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
