How did migrants end up staying at a Chicago police station for days? – CBS2 (Chicago)

A spokesperson with the city's Department of Family and Support Services said these migrants were brought to Chicago by bus from Denver, Colorado, and that when migrants are dropped off at police stations, the city helps get them to a shelter.

Hmm, I thought property taxes were used to staff and equip the local police department — not to be used as an unpaid Airbnb for illegal immigrants.

How is it even remotely possible that CBS 2 does not know the answer to the very question that it now pretends to “incredulously” ask!?
