Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. What is never addressed is the adding of fluoride to the water. Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) a corrosive fluoride byproduct of the phosphate industry. It is added to the water for one specific health problem to reduce cavities (which is not proven). That makes it a medicine so what is the dose 1 glass -8 glasses?. Fluoride leeches the lead out pipes by corrosion over time. Adding fluoride is mandated by the state and there are penalties and fines if you are not complicit.
