Have any county workers been laid-off since the Wuhan Virus pandemic began in March? Have ANY county workers missed a paycheck? No? Then lay off a third of them now for their strike tantrum. No one in the county will notice a difference in services.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
