Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Sheriffs swear to uphold the Constitution — democrat gun grabbers wipe their dirty asses with it
I attended and recorded the Dupage County Board meeting on Tuesday. The overflow room had close to 300 Mendrick supporters & about a dozen gun ban supporters. You can visit the Dupage County link & watch the overwhelming support & articulate speakers who stood with Sheriff Mendrick. Bottom line, WE WILL NOT COMPLY WITH UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS OF ANY KIND! Speakers drew standing ovations in support of Sheriff Mendrick. He is a Champion for The People!
Mendrick got 241,000 votes, more votes than any other countywide candidate on the ballot in 2022. He got more votes than JB Pritzker did in 2022. Conroy the board prez only received 172,000 votes, so by my calculation, she had 70,000 votes less than him. Mendrick is popular, wildly popular, Conroy is a complete loser and her harpy screeching should be ignored.

The fear-mongering has been so effective that this person is willing to disregard the Constitution and give up rights, for a law that cannot be proven to save anyone. But it sounds virtuous- he will do anything to SAVE ONE LIFE! A regular Mother Teresa.
The majority there were in support of the Sheriff and our 2nd amendment Constitutional rights. The Lunatic Dupage County Chair, Deb Conroy, is still talking about censuring the Sheriff. News flash Deb – you have no authority over him. Dem’s keep digging their heels in. More interested in proving themselves Right than doing the Right thing. Disgraceful. They are not going after any other Sheriff, just the Sheriff in Dupage County. It’s more than politics. It’s about hate and intolerance. Unhappy, divorced middle aged women like Deb Conroy hate deplorables. An inclusive progressive utopia in DuPage, by definition, excludes deplorables like the Sheriff and his 240,000 voters (yes, he got 240,000 votes, he’s extremely popular!). There’s nothing she can do about it, you are correct, and she is mad about it. The deplorables have spoken and she doesn’t like to be reminded of their existence.
Just how did that idiot, Conroy, ever get elected. Sad commentary on DuPage County. I can’t find headline now, I think Fibune, made it seem like much opposition to Sheriff at meeting.
There’s some controversy in my town, like every other town, over a hired school administrator. The 24 year old left wing partisan hack reporter covering my town uses her language in the article to tip the scales in favor of progressives, every time without fail. If 50 parents show up to protest – then she describes it as ‘a handful’ of ‘rambling’ parents show up to ‘complain’ about the civil rights and inclusive oriented curriculum.
