Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I read this entire article and the comments. It is truly, truly an awful hit piece by a scumbag journalist who purposely tries to slander ‘average’ Americans yet he focuses only on Republicans in this article. Journalism is the enemy of the people. I don’t even know where to start. The government is buying the farmer’s cheese during the pandemic is not socialism and it’s likely the farmer was talking about the build back better cradle to grave government dependence. The article’s author twitters into the void. He has virtually no comments or retweets of any of his own tweets, and his own tweets is basically regime propaganda and purposeful misinformation. He retweets “anti-vaxxers wearing yellow stars in Kansas”. The evidence is one picture of about three people – likely a family – wearing stars. Then of course the typical climate hysteria misinformation, legitimate sadness at Biden’s low polling, covid disinfo and of course, disgust at the Let’s Go Brandon phenom.
This loser is 100% unqualified to be writing news at all. He’s a complete hack.
