IL Attorney General donating 5% of settlement with Juul to nicotine prevention, quitting initiative – WCIA (Champaign)

Two years after securing a $462 settlement from Juul Labs Inc., the Illinois Attorney General’s Office announced it is donating $24 million of that settlement toward efforts to prevent youth nicotine usage.

With the loss of direct and indirect funding courtesy of federal taxpayers via the shutdown of leftist-funding USAID, leftist NGO’s, such as the ‘Truth Initiative’, have been scrambling to replace millions of dollars of slush fund money.
