Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Democrats always protecting criminals or law abiding citizens.
File this alongside the Karmelo Anthony case now playing out- a student with a history of violence that culminated in the murder of a fellow student.
Well,, you wouldn’t want a bill that protects students from sexual assault and you certainly wouldn’t want a bill that allows school districts to expel students who attack other students…I mean that would be persecuting a challenged group who just need a little understanding and perhaps a couple of billion in counseling and some programs. I mean if Districts could get rid of these students, normal kids would be safer, then there wouldn’t be a need for so many other social programs in the district and then funding might be cut…sheesh, can’t have that.
Republican sponsored, bipartisan support, Democrats quashed it. Man, does this look bad for them.
I’m always posting about how democrats just love violent criminals and could care less about the victims of crime. Just another example of not having consequences for “students” committed sexual assaults which are by definition violent crimes. Democrats love violent criminals and it is quite apparent and speaks volumes of the democrats hatred of victims of a violent crime while the criminals are adored.
