IL House Republicans call out $1B for NGOs, plan their own budget proposal – Center Square

Among the spending some members of the Illinois House Republicans highlighted was more than $14 million going to the Indo American Center. “When you start to trim the pork, the pigs start to squeal,” state Rep. Chris Miller said.

Its called money laundering and criminal conspiracy.

I don’t remember voting for NGOs or Illinois to organize and conspire to harbor and aid and abet criminal illegal aliens. Or for it to be paid with my tax dollars.

This is as illegal as the aliens themselves.

ILGOP needs a vastly more expansive and vigorous effort to call out all of this stupidity. Their efforts are minimal and almost seem perfunctory rather than heartfelt. Copy the Trump approach, which is shouts out and never backs down.to

All Republican representatives need to be calling out this abuse and waste. This government has no problem inventing new and creative ways to take money from hard working Illinois residents in the form of taxes and crapping it away on this NGO money laundering scheme. They learned it from the Feds and are doing it directly in Illinois. This organization’s website suggests that it is “Helping South Asian immigrants in the Chicago area become empowered and connected through education, resources, and social services.” Really?! $14 Million?!
