Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Pretty ironic for a state that champions video poker, casinos, sports betting, lotto and marijuana, all very addictive behaviors that kids observe via their parents.
And SJW Kwame is off on another adventure while the steaming cesspool he supposedly oversees, ripe with grift and corruption, keeps chugging along without any interference from his office.
Ironic. From a state that is exposing K-12 children to sexually explicit books, comprehensive sex education and transgendering them. They should take a look in the mirror first.
They are incapable of self-introspection.
