Illinois Attorney General Now Investigating Center For Covid Control Amid Accusations Of Deception, Fraud Against Insurance Companies – CBS2 (Chicago)

The Center for Covid Control temporarily shut down all its sites earlier this month. The Rolling Meadows-based company is accused of billing the government for $113 million for tests provided to uninsured patients across the country, and many who actually had insurance.

Had one of their test sites near us, busy place, always a line out the door. We have a friend who went there and never got any results back. They had no explanation and offered to redo the test. Scammers should be put in jail.

Who would have thought there could be financial shenanigans involving Covid testing? Covid testing is offered everywhere. Gas stations, muffler shops, independent donut shops. Maybe empty Burberry outlets could participate.
