Illinois building new migrant intake center at Chicago bus landing zone – CBS2 (Chicago)

The Illinois Department of Human Services confirmed six heated tents are under construction at the Chicago landing zone at 800 S. Desplaines St., just blocks from the city's Greyound bus station, the Ogilvie Transportation Center, and Union Station.

Obviously then we can assume that Illinois will continue to be a welcoming sanctuary State for the immigrants. We can probably assume as well that many Chicago citizens may not be happy about the situation but, being the State is doing it, they have little to say in the matter.
