Illinois could prohibit owning servals with new bill – WCIA (Champaign)

A bill in the Capitol filed by Rep. Daniel Didech  would ban Illinois residents from owning servals. They would be classified as ‘dangerous animals’, the same classification as lions, tigers, and bears. Also added to the definition in the bill are wallabies, kangaroos, and caracals.
