This is the very definition of insanity.

Brought to you by JB the Hutt and the political animals running Madiganistan.

“Peers?” Illegal aliens in Illinois are now peer to legal citizens?

I don’t think so!

One of the ways you know you live in a state where your leaders and lawmakers are corrupt and/or greedy and/or unskilled is when most of the bills passed make life worse for its citizenry.

Ever wonder why your dollars just don’t buy as much anymore?

Now you know of one reason.

Illinois must entice illegals, Without them Chicago would be only the fourth largest city and would also lose congressional seats and funding from the Feds. Illinois is corrupt to the core. I worked for years in Illinois govt and know the scoop.

I clearly do not support such a bill to let my TAX DOLLARS go to help illegal aliens get a free education in the US. Even foreign students on F-1s have to pay for their education. Illinois is rock poor, no economic development, no manufacturing growth, losing population and businesses because of the never ending taxation on the legal tax paying residents. Illinois needs a new governor, new legislative body that is equal representation(Rs equal to Ds). Wake Up Illinois!!

Hopefully ICE will gain access to the list of “students” that apply for this aid. That will make it easier to find and deport them.

‘Replacement’ Theory in full effect in IL. Amazing how poor black IL citizens just rollover for the Democrats cutting the pie into smaller slices to make room on the plantation for illegals.

Better educate the next generation as they are Illinois’s future. The CPS is failing on the education front.

And you claim you are not being used like slaves? You may say that this is what was voted for. A simple democratic majority can enslave the minority just as if the minority were actual slaves. In a Republic, the constitution and the judiciary are supposed to protect your rights so that a majority cannot simply vote to deny them. In Illinois, the system has been gamed. The constitution has been bastardized to enshrine leftist ideas and the judiciary is bought and paid for by the democrats and Pritzker. You are enslaved, you just don’t know it.

sadly, we know it…if there was legit voting, there’d be no Pritzker. Except for Cook, Champaign Co., it’s a blue state!! It’s all so tiresome how the big Gov does everything to hurt IL citizens…everything!

If you are here illegally, you should be deported!
If people can pick and choose which laws to follow/enforce, the country is dead!

These people are lunatics. How the hell does this make any common sense to anyone. Illinois Tax payers providing funding for illegals for COLLEGE, when it is already so difficult for the average family to afford…but now we should pay for illegals?

Translation: “If you live illegally in Illinois and are pursuing “higher education”(sic), you should have access to the same taxpayer monies as your legal peers.”

This is against federal law and will be slapped down quickly. The repercussions from this virtue signal will affect all students in the state. But what do politicans care? half the state’s college students go out of state. Those are the smart ones. The dumb ones are the college students who stay behind.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
