Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The ‘vibe and joy’ of the canned DNC convention didn’t make it 24 hrs with RFKjr full endorsement of PDJT. RFKjr absolutely devasted the DNC and their Marxist Harris with truth bombs.
Nancy Pelosi is more like a rock than a rock star. The queen of insider trading, which I’m sure MK endorses fully, can’t open her mouth without putting her foot in it. I’m sure the entire convention had a feminine vibe. JB is probably getting ready to announce he is transitioning any day now.
I watched and listened to several hours of highlights from the convention, and it reminded me a lot of the Romney-Ryan 2012 RNC convention. A fake snoozefest full of fake platitudes. The 2012 RNC convention had “you didn’t build that!” as it’s motto, with an entire focus on business, big and small, which is what the Romney-Ryan ticket believed was its constituency. It was so fake, so addressed to a tiny sliver of the party, and it bombed spectacularly. I remember at the time thinking to myself, wow, we are totally screwed. This is something that caught my attention from the endless Trump bashing speeches at the DNC. The speech by Rep. Pat Ryan (NY) when he was saying about Harris a year ago she was at the graduation ceremonies at West Point. He said she showed them respect and reverence and shook the hands of every graduate and Rep. Ryan said he saw the “Next” commander in chief even though Biden did not drop out yet.
