Wisconsin this weekend: $4.649/gal. Locally: $5.799/gal.

Border gas stations in WI thrive; border gas stations in IL, well, you know.

Yup just came back from Hayward 2 weeks ago $4.46 a gallon when we arrived in Illinois my jaw dropped $5.99 a gallon, go figure

But Mr. Pritzker is suspending the $0.02/gallon tax increase!

Why aren’t we more grateful? Because at $5.999, $0.02 is a whopping 0.33%. At that rate we can buy an extra gallon of gas once we’ve purchased 299 or so gallons (at $5.999 that would be about $1,799).

So, here’s the deal:buy nearly 299 gallons of gas and get one gallon free!

Thanks a whole lot, Governor.
