The roads and bridges are in poor condition and are in need of repair. Where has all this money gone? Someone has gotten rich off this negligence.
Fortunately I’m a short drive to Wisconsin where I usually save $.50 – $.60 cents a gallon. There are more Illinois plated vehicles at the gas stations than Wisconsin plates. Bonus days are when the savings are $.80 – $.90 cents a gallon less.
No no, don’t cut anything…don’t right size anything, don’t end stupid programs that are just patronage give-a-aways…nope…head back to the tax well and grab more from us. This, right here is a perfect example of elected officials not caring even a little bit. As long has their cash keeps flowing and they stay in power…all is well.
