The California Fires and Newsome diverted all media attention away for JB. JB Is simply doing anything to turn the cameras back onto him and his 2028 Presidential Campaign. Right now JB is as confident as he ever has been that he will win in 2028. A lame duck President and no Democrat front runner has Jabba salivating, fantasizing and dreaming.
I suspect that JB the Hutt would, if it were possible, fire or buyout every state employee that voted for Trump –yes, some did, probably more than anyone knows.

If anyone here watches the nightly Greg Gutfeld comedy show on Fox, he’s been using Pritzker as the butt of all his fat jokes lately (he used to always poke Chris Christie)

State of Illinois employees could give a sh*t about their fellow citizens. Evidence – the consistently dehumanizing experience visiting Alexi Giannoulias’ Secretary of State offices, or dealing with anyone at the Illinois Dept of Revenue. Add the Cadillac pension and retirement healthcare scam as a chaser.
You are right about the dehumanizing experience at government offices in Illinois. Illinoisians just get accustomed to it, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I moved to WA state — admittedly not conservative state by any means, with plenty of political stupidity — but the efficiency and friendliness of the public services near Seattle nearly brought a tear to my eye. At the DMV there were online reservations with accurate and immediate updates and reminders by text including which window to step up to. I work for a state agency in the legislative branch, not under the governor and not unionized. We personally answer our phones and only have an answering machine for off hours. People call us and are shocked to be talking to live people. We will.even talk to people who dialed the wrong number to see if we can get them pointed to the right destination.

I have a hunch that the ‘Jan. 6 rioters’ wouldn’t consider Illinois government for employment in the first place.
