The politicians, not the kids, need mental health evaluations.

If Illinois says your child has a problem, get it checked out by a non-partisan specialist and get private testing for your child. Do NOT trust progressive Illinois school system results. They have an agenda

My son was targeted, I had him privately tested. Over 300 tests done all negative. Meeting with the principal, she refused to believe the test results from a highly regarded source.

This screening is to help pedophile Teachers Union members – the majority of them – to identify potential targets. period.

And we’re are the parents on this, I haven’t heard one word of concern or outrage on this. Again sitting back on there lard asses as the government takes more and more control of your children’s lives and for that matter your lives also, pathetic little people.

Another reason to Get Your Kids Out of Public Indoctrination Government run Schools. This is disastrous for the well being of every child in this State.

This will devolve into classroom teachers diagnosing the mental health of bored young boys who disrupt class. Look no farther than the increased numbers of school children on drugs for ADHD. Many diagnosed by ineffectual teachers.

Of course, that’s the point. Create classes of zombies for easier control.

The legislature showered a whole lotta $$$love$$$ on the mental health profession in the last two sessions—mandatory screenings, free out-patient services for some, couples counseling, minimum wage guarantees, better benefits for state and other government employees. Such concentrated love makes one wonder what changed or as my old, very old grandmother said, Cui Bono?

The screening is only as good as the people doing them. IL is not good at hiring qualified people without political affiliations. If there is a question about a child’s mental health, parents should have a private evaluation. Parents should opt out. Don’t let the schools and government label your child because your values differ from those in charge.

Hmm.. people that got it wrong with covid and now think learning about systemic racism, transgenderism and the evils of capitalism are more important than a useful education now having a say as to your child’s mental health. Can’t wait for the life long grifters to leverage supposed mental health issues into a carefree life of social services devoid of responsibility.

I said it once and I’ll say it again. They should require anyone running for public office to take the test. We’ve got some real losers in office

Won’t they require government school staff to be tested?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
