Well Mr. Mayor haven’t you heard Illinois is a sanctuary State? The voters, and those that didn’t, voted for this mess so don’t go running to the Federal Government whining. Your voters wanted this so buckle up and do your job.
Hopefully Republicans stand strong and don’t allow the Federal Government to provide funding for illegals. Building a wall and deporting illegals is the only thing the Federal Government should be doing.
Don’t have much faith in the Republicans. Our local County Republicans are on board with this influx and if they are not on board with it than they are virtue signaling out of fear of being called racists. I hope Congress stops this, but I don’t have much faith. They have already allowed millions of unvetted into our Country which already is enough to do damage.
Truth, a sad state of affairs indeed. Lincoln (an Illinois Republican ) wouldn’t recognize his colleagues anymore.
A political opponent once referred to Lincoln as “a first rate second rate man!” Thus, Abe would have been ok with being called a half racist!
