Gov. JB Pritzker Ramps Up National Profile For Possible Presidential Bid – Daily Caller

Kathy Salvi, chair of the Illinois Republican Party, said there’s an “audible groan” from Illinois residents whenever his name is mentioned. “He is hugely unpopular here in Illinois and that’s because we see him for who he is,” Salvi told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “He’s got a soft launch of his presidential bid in New Hampshire that just proves Illinois has just been a stepping stone for him to advance his personal ambition while we’re settled here with the heavy effect of his administration’s failed policies.”

His profile is making IL the LGBT, abortion and illegal immigrant capital of the US. He all created one of the highest taxing states and financially ruining IL.

Gov Pritzker lives in some alternate universe believing he has done a good job as governor. I to imagined myself as Roy Rogers when it occurred to me that I didn’t have a horse! I doubt JB could even manage the Park Hyatt. His family did not hire him nor should we nor should America.

Any coincidence that Waddles is testing the water in Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream country? I think not.

The only reason he is the governor is becoming Cook County. Just like Durbin and Duckworth they carry about 10 of the state counties but the really stupid voters in Cook County always vote for the D no matter who the candidate is. Ed Burke, Mike Madigan could run for after being convicted of corruption and they would win handily. Until Cook /Chicago wake up, they’ve been in a coma for decades, nothing will change. On the national stage who knows as there were 70+ million brain dead who voted for Harris so a plump tyrant, schemer, liar and corrupt… Read more »

He continues to use his Governor’s platform and increasingly outlandish IL Progressive laws and policies to milk national media attention on the taxpayers dime to try and inflame his Shia Kapos Fangirl worship to a national level. He has his daddy’s $3.7B… Read more »

If he doesn’t run for governor, he can save his campaign money for the 2028 presidential cycle and have plenty left over to boost his chosen successor as governor and whoever he backs to replace Durbin in the Senate.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
