A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Pretty similar to covid we’ll find out about all the waste and fraud at some point. The question is will they ever find out whos pockets got lined?
Pritzker owns this. I’ve been talking to new arrivals for days. They’ve all told me they were inspired by stories of fancy hotels with room service and generous benefits. Here’s another angle. Imagine living in a room this size with 300 people, everything you own, and kids running around everywhere.
There’s no way this is costing the state 7K a month. They’re bussing them around on school busses. Everyone I’ve talked to says the food is horrible. Where is the $$ going?
Lots of new arrivals have dental braces. I have no idea how that works out or who is paying for them. Also, one of my contacts got his kids enrolled in a local school, but he’s only been here a month and doesn’t even have enough documentation to get a cell phone plan.. He doesn’t have a passport.
I’ve heard that with nothing to do (maid service, no ‘workfare’ required) the illegals are spending much of the time on producing ‘anchor babies’.
Maybe in tents, but not here. Lots of them have small children at this location. This location is for families.

Fred, you’re confusing cause and effect. The occupant of the White House is the cause of the invasion (and God forbid if you were the occupant) the issue would still exist.
Numbers don’t add up. Something smells fishy. If there are 15,000 jumpers and costs are estimated at $350M or more that is $23,333 per person or $ 93,332 for a family of 4 so where is the money going? Many are still in shelters/police stations/O’Hare/in tents on streets around the city so how can the money supposedly spent be justified? How many families of 4 would like to make $93K per year? Right. All the numbers are bullshit. The 15K bused in is a tiny fraction of Illinois’ share of the millions who have come in.
Straighten out the mess and fraud with unemployment insurance and stolen Covid funds and over payment for current services to these illegal invaders first. Then there might be a few bucks to buy corn flakes for the unwelcome hoard.
Until Pritzker and the supermajority Democrats end the ‘sanctuary state’ status of IL, they are not serious, only using a crisis of their doing to pander.
IL is a uniparty state. There’s only one party in control in this state. They don’t have to answer to anyone, not opposition parties and certainly not the voters. The uniparty can do no wrong.
