The general consensus is that the relaxing of voter laws leads to higher D turnout. However, in 2020, Republicans in CA used it to their advantage in some red districts and flipped a few seats back. Used the correct way, Republicans may be able to use it to their advantage….doubtful, but maybe

Sorry for the pessimism but the next election probably won’t change anything due to the use of the COVID-19 era election laws passed earlier this summer.
