Yeah, I don’t remember him saying that it only applied to sunny 70 degree days!

Poor trust funder JB, first time in his life he’s got a problem he can’t buy his way out of.
Come to think of it, that’s why he’s obese. He can’t buy a lower weight. It would take will power for him to lose weight, but he didn’t inherit any.

This morning the governor lied with his first 2 words and 2 numbers out of his mouth. He said “It’s minus 29” here. That is the wind chill not the air temp.

I hope Gov Abbott does take a break in bussing illegal immigrants this week. It would further demonstrate true compassion, as opposed to the sanctimonious hypocrisy of the left. He can resume the caravan next week, without losing anything.

Why should Abbott deny the migrants to freely travel to their preferred cities?

Just feels like it’s hard to claim migrant preference after dropping them on the street in sub-zero temps. Abbott’s done well at making the point, no need to go beyond the limits of credibility.

They sign a form agreeing to go to Chicago. They all have cell phones, apps, they know North American is cold in January. If they want to travel here, let them. The burden is on Chicago to provide timely, warm shelter for them. This is what being a sanctuary city is all about!

100% agree. If we want change from our elected leaders we must give the voters what they want. Perhaps the voters will finally become adults and choose differently.

The question I have, is are voters really this stupid, or are elections fake?

The ‘new arrival’ migrants are CHOOSING Chicago Illinois as their sanctuary asylum promised land destination. Abbott and others are just supplying the bus or plane tickets

Pritzker follows the team line wanting massive immigration with individuals that will make up future Democrat party voters. Illinois, already blue, does not, in Pritzker’s mind, need more blue voters but Texas, being a red state, does, Keeping the migrants with the hope of turning Texas into a blue State is the goal and Pritzker’s supposed concern about the winter cold is just another pablum type headline for election purposes because if he really cared, with his immense wealth, he would devote some of his hotels to house these immigrants.

Pritzker and the Democrats declared IL a ‘sanctuary state’, creating massive incentive for illegal border crossings. Pritzker has yet to remand that sanctuary status and request Biden to close the border. But Pritzker has the hubris to ask Gov Abbott to stop sending illegals to IL. You cannot make this up.

Because JB’s hotels are full with jumpers and has no more room. Yeah Right!

Where is JB’s concern for the extreme negative impact the open border has had on Texans? Does he care about migrants that he has consistently promised would be welcome in Illinois, or does he care about how this unmitigated disaster makes him look? We all knew it gets cold in Chicago, yet JB never told Joe to close the border, as far as we know. He wanted that spigot kept on, and now he wants someone else to clean up the mess. It’s been that way his entire life. The man shouldn’t be in charge of anything.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
