The problem is, these Taxpayer Compensated Employees (especially the AFSCME) turn right around and donate to Democrats, who are largely responsible for them receiving their largesse in the first place. This spiral of corruption must cease if this State is Ever to be come fiscally viable one again…

Illinois employees and lawmakers should wear masks when collecting their paychecks. They’re robbing the state blind

Oh, so this is why dealing with any Illinois government employee at anytime and anywhere is just a rewarding and pleasant experience!
Maybe they can put up some “Heroes Work Here!” banners leftover from the pandemic.

Will you look at all the downvotes on these comments!
We are all over the target!
You know the truth hurts when the state employees sitting in their La-Z-Boys put down their family sized bags of Cheetos and make the strenuous effort to cast this many downvotes!
The poor babies probably had to take a nap after this, because they’re not used to working this hard.

No surprises here. Plus, the Highest Benefits and Highest Pension with the Largest annual increases (50% higher than most). No wonder Illinois is BROKE and does not have the change of a Nickel. People are fleeing in record numbers to get away from the greed of the public sector.
