Many homeless people are VETS, and are being screw over by society again.
Most workers are only a few pay checks from being homeless themselves, so always show compassion. I just love all you good Christians who do just what Jesus would do, bunch of BS, go to Church on Sunday and spit on the homeless the rest of week.

U.S. Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García is collecting nearly $70,000 a year in a taxpayer-funded pension while serving in Congress. Mayor Lori Lightfoot took $210,000 out of her retirement accounts to supplement her salary at City Hall — paying a big penalty in the process. And Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson has reported making $2,530 as a “media personality” on WCPT.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
