Illinois home foreclosure rates on upswing, among highest in country – Center Square

A new 24/7 Wall Street study finds homeowners across the state now face foreclosure actions in 1 out of every 3,753 instances. By comparison, researchers note that the 1 in every 7,112 foreclosures in nearby Missouri is about half of what it is in Illinois.

Taxes are also probably half of what they are in Il across the Mississippi. “ But the quality of life in IL!” the state workers blubber. Yeah, drive through CHI, Danville, Decatur, East St. Louis etc and tell me how wonderful IL is.
