Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Can anyone explain to me why her record was expunged? My limited understanding it was by a unanimous vote? Vote by who, all members of the chamber? If so that mean republicans voted to cleanse her record; why? She aspires to higher office,you would think you would want the record around.
As I said in a previous post, she was put in office by Madigan and he defends his own.
In searching on Kifoiwt, I came across an adult themed story about her. But be warned it is ADULT, as in X-rated, but, it also seems to be written by someone who knows her well. Based on my mulit-year interactions with her and her social circle I think it is very insightful. It isn’t titillating smut, but written in a reflective tone.
