This will be extremely dangerous if it were to pass.
This was not covered in the news and I had not heard of this. This goes back to my theory that no progressive law is too crazy for the Illinois Legislature. Democrats have an agreement to vote for all of each other’s progressive laws, because they have to, if they don’t, they will be ousted in a primary from someone crazy nutjob even further to the left.
The Democrats believe the key to success in Illinois is to keep people high and addicted to gambling. At least that’s what their actions tell us.
