Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. my thoughts are that Illinois is not on Trumps dart board and rather will be on Trumps ignore board meaning a lack of funding. Keep shooting off your mouth Welch because the more you do the more certain funds will be cut.

When small children don’t continue to get what they shouldn’t have had in the first place, they cry and throw tantrums. Since blue is the preferred color of Welch and his ilk, let them hold their breath until they are true IL Dem blue in the face.
Chris Welch is not very bright. Not sure he has processed that his state is a mess. Crime, taxes, debt levels, and public corruption all appear to be out of control. Because of these issues we rank at the very bottom for attracting businesses, outmigration and growing our private employment base.
