Illinois House Speaker: ‘Mr. Trump, tear down this fence!’ – Center Square

Illinois House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch called the Broadview fence “a distraction” from the havoc he said Trump has wreaked on the nation. Welch said Black women have lost jobs at a higher rate than any demographic and the Broadview community was being stripped of diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

They stand with the status quo, shouting borrowed slogans, hiding the decay and decline in Illinois while blaming a president in office for ten months. They passed the budgets giving scarce resources to illegal migrants; they made their deals outside the statehouse, picking the beneficiaries based on how much they benefit personally. They are corrupt, hanging on to the carcass of Illinois for a few last licks.

Grandstanding Welch has his big” Reagan moment “. Like most Dems, he lacks any originality and has to piggyback on the thoughts and actions of more intelligent, productive people.

Welch, so concerned, yet he was directly involved in letting the Invest In Kids program to lapse, forcing several private school closures and many kids back into sub par local private schools while he sent his to Timothy Christian because his large pensioned state salary enabled him to do so. Now, he prioritizes illegal criminals over those same kids and the rest of us.
