Illinois Is Prepared If There’s Another COVID Wave As Cases Go Up, Pritzker Says – Block Club Chicago

“We have a much better idea today of what we need to do as a state to be prepared for surges if they should occur,” Pritzker said. “We also know how to mitigate the surges much better than we did in the last two years. That’s gonna allow us to avoid the devastating impacts, as long as those surges aren’t higher than we’ve ever seen before, which I don’t expect them to be.”

Carefully read the paragraph about being prepared. Illinois will avoid devastating impacts IF surge is not larger than past surges. We have learned nothing, maybe we have sufficient hospital and ICU beds as long as the surge is not worse than we had. Nearly 35,000 Illinois people have lost their lives to Covid due to JB’s Lack of Leadership not to mention the economic and psychological effects to so many others caused by him. Very assuring from the LoL governor.

Hmmmm….who’s asking the question? The DNC? If we don’t fall into a hot war there’s a high probability a massive spike in Covid will coincide with the mid terms. JB is just waiting for direction from the Bobby Rush of Martha’s Vineyard. Obama is aging and JB is getting bigger.

Control freak Pritzker would love to bring out the face diapers again, but he knows the voters are tired of playing pandemic.

Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
