Acting Secretary at the Department of Innovation Technology Jennifer Ricker said their biggest challenge at the time is finding qualified workers to fill their open positions. “The whole cycle for hiring an individual is really challenging for us. We typically have been sitting at about 25% vacancy rate of our staff.”

Plenty of talent out there, just get your heads out of your collective bargaining mindsets. Pay for talent in this space, or pay the ransom.

This is the type of work that should be outsourced to a reputable IT company. Political hiring is not going to find you enough qualified people.
