“Congress enacted this critical funding to support families and help working parents access child care, and the president does not have the authority to withhold it in this way,” Attorney General Kwame Raoul said in a statement. “This move comes with zero justification, and in the administration’s own words, targets only Democrat-led states.”

IL and states refusing to turn over records should not get a dime. Pritzker and company should be arrested and jailed for not turning over voter rolls. These actions imply guilt. Democrats not protecting privacy. They are protecting fraud.

The justification lies in the scandal enabled by Walz in MN. Similar investigations are underway in ME, WA, NY and other places, I’m sure. That unmonitored welfare in states always hungry for money turned out to be full of corruption isn’t really a surprise to anyone.
