Given where Chicago is right now this new stadium proposal is a bad idea and a bad deal – Wirepoints on The Chicago Way with John Kass
Ted was on The Chicago Way with John Kass and Jeff Carlin to discuss the proposed $5 billion lakefront stadium project proposed by the Chicago Bears & Mayor Brandon Johnson, why Chicago is struggling compared to other metro areas across the country, why the city might or might not go the way of Detroit, and more.
Kwame, like all leftists , just cannot help being a liar. It is what leftists do!
Fantastic: “Yet democracy and free speech rest on the same premise: that the people, not elite overseers, are able to sort out truth from falsehood and to determine for themselves what’s in their own best interests.” So many recent stories in the left-wing media regarding gov attempts to regulate media, the demise of “news” or “news deserts”, states(Illinois) proposing to fund non-profit news (similar to ST/ WBEZ model) to the “elites” that want to tell you what the “TRUTH” is because the underlying message from these folks is that your to stupid to know what the TRUTH is. They are… Read more »
Speaking of elites, look at the numbers on what they believe. Horrifying. This is from a new WSJ editorial: Talk about out of touch. Among the elite, 74% say their finances are getting better, compared with 20% of the rest of voters. (The share is 88% among elites who are Ivy League graduates.) The elite give President Biden an 84% approval rating, compared with 40% from non-elites. And their complete faith in fellow elites extends beyond Mr. Biden. Large majorities of them have a favorable view of university professors (89%), journalists (79%), lawyers and union leaders (78%) and even members… Read more »
I thought this was very revealing NPR podcast from a couple weeks ago regarding non-profit ST/ WBEZ elites on a mission to tell their TRUTH. They just need the Illinois dem machine/ Washington (dopey taxpayer/voter) to fund it. The Jennifer Kho (ST editor) is scary:
‘A Commitment to Local News’ panel discussion explores the path forward for journalism

They’re trying to adopt the Canadian model.
Just listened to it. Wow. Jennifer Cho is nutjob. Hanna Meisel is terrific but the others were worthless.
I guess the progressive buzz phase is “mission driven journalism” for what’s being practiced/preached at a ST/ WBEZ and so many other temples of truth. Tons of articles on definition, means & methods on how to operate in a clickbait ocean
Yes, that’s a core problem. “Advocacy journalism,” it’s also called, and it’s openly accepted in such of the media and journalism schools. News reporting should have none of that. It has made today. journalism’s Dark Age.
And the wealthy became more wealthy during pandemic. Many of the elite also back certain candidates to finance an agenda which they think helps the world but in fact it enriches then even more. We found out how well Teslas work in cold weather! Even with their vast wealth they cannot make laws or enact them so they need politicians to do their bidding.

The most important point to take away from this is that the elites hate you. They actually hate you, and your beliefs, and they hate to share the same unvaccinated air as you. They live in elite closed bubbles where they have little contact with the real world and they hate the people that inhabit the rungs below them. You’re a peasant and they’ll treat you as much; and some of the peasants have more use than others (migrants more useful than deplorables). The sooner people understand how strong the hate is, and yes, it is hate, disgust, contempt, and… Read more »
The elites hiring illegals need to go to jail. That’s a start.
If the government defines truth, you will believe that quarantining healthy people and six foot social distancing are truths, and not allowing your child access to pornography is censorship.
I’ll vouch for the author of this. (He’s my brother.) And read his new book on free speech, here at Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/Free-Speech-Turbulent-Freedom-Censorship/dp/0197636764/ref=sr_1_2?crid=27P9PX2NTADY7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.kCiXDneXpJjwe-hLZmZiuz53WUxQAw1nKSJNT0NI5r5WNzm4ZFh5XR3sumfbbnhAhCKXPtovOsp8CuVPv9ecJg3N6w3dQGGU-2b_C-keoUrEMhs5qk8fu4qgv4am0Yb8-JzEXOetVRb92uuah0DC-QM88FJlrMzG0oYRyoDQcALv7CsyqpBnJXOe61PXJg7_z7VdJGK9koRYw4zn1C55Frs0ogDV9gI7TfYMi5MeSSM.LMnwMN0YAMFPzndQ8Y7xR9hGtDiBF8KJ44sw59-gl_s&dib_tag=se&keywords=michael+glennon&qid=1705699900&sprefix=%2Caps%2C149&sr=8-2
Hat tip to your brother for writing, and for your posting.
Very informative and insightful read.
Congrats to your brother!!!, Your a family of freedom fighters!!
Looks good! I’m working on a similar project that takes a systems analysis approach to censorship, amplification and other more sophisticated gambits. Amplification of select messaging is just as dangerous as censorship! Does he address interactive, motivational, and predictive elements of human behavior that big tech leverages? How about legal capture?
Is there commentary on class action suits in there? I don’t know much about the law, but class action suits seem like one of the few options left. I’d like to read about class action strategy.
