"The state should not experience this bump in revenue on the backs of consumers, particularly middle and lower-income consumers who are already suffering financially from inflation and high gas prices," state Rep. Mark Batinick said.
Why not introduce a bill that gives us a tax credit if we go buy our gas in Wisconsin or any neighboring state where it’s cheaper. In addition maybe a 50 cent per mile plus the cost of gas reimbursement would be fine.
