State lawmakers failed to reform the Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion this legislative session despite bipartisan criticism of its performance and calls to disband it. Moreover, the seven highly paid commissioners who lead it are getting raises of about $5,000 apiece, and their requested $5.6 million budget was approved.
No one in or connected to the legislators should get a raise for not representing IL US citizens.

And these politically connected hacks do what? Have committees to discuss made up grievances and then more committees to discuss the findings of the previous committee and then another committee as to how to react to the findings ad nauseam with no public oversight or accountability as to what if anything is being accomplished? They change nothing and pad their own pockets like any good progressive/ socialist/ DSA member worth his salt in the process.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
