Instead of creating new statewide taxes, lawmakers chose to move around money that already comes into the state. Tollway tax is just another way to tax suburban residents to fund Chicago. There are no tollways in Chicago. Maybe make Chicago expressways toll roads so that Chicago can put some “skin in the game”.

The leaders of the State of Illinois are morons and that’s the only easy to describe them. Every move they makes causes more people to move or avoid Illinois or Chicago. The democrats ruining the state are just too dumb to understand that fact.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
