Illinois lawmakers pass on proposal to get slowpokes out of the fast lane – INN

Comment: Most annoying thing in the world. And State Sen. Napoleon Harris, D-Harvey, said “I drive in the left-hand lane all the way here." But Wisconsin drivers are the worst on this. Camp in the woods, not in the left lane!

While driving a stick-shift Lancia 4-banger on the Autostrada in Italy years ago, it was refreshing to see nearly all drivers adhering to the pass-on-left-only rule. The couple of times I saw cars hanging in the passing lane, they were mercilessly tailed until they moved over.
