Sen. Dick Durbin, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee who led the nomination to confirmation, said, “We want to make our justice system look much more like America, and today we took a great stride forward in giving this judge, Kentaji Brown Jackson, her chance, a lifetime chance, to serve on the United States Supreme Court."
In other words, Dick Durbin dismisses qualifications, experience, and neutrality and opts for some twisted notion that the Supreme Court should be based on skin color, gender, and ethnicity. All accidents of birth and nothing more.
So much for meritocracy and having the best individual in the right position. No, D.I.E. reigns supreme in this man’s world.
When will Illinois voters dump this sad excuse for a legislator (along with his sidekick, Ms. Duckworth)?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
