Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. great, school, run by illiterate morons, Chicago’s specialty.
Once again folks, don’t confuse the CPS/CTU symbiosis with education.
11% of the CPS students White what parent in their right mind would send their kid to a CPS high school?
Wackie…what in the world does a race obsessed elected school board /districts have to do with educating kids???…oh, sorry, my bad– cps isn’t about kids but all about $politics$
Because the mostly illegal latinks, that make up the majority of CPS students, takes away valuable resources from native born americans. Every ESL teacher is one fewer school counsel, every free lunch for a latinks family is one more year using older books, every classroom with mixed language speakers slows down all the natives from learning English. The black community should be up in arms against the takeover of CPS by latinks. But they’re not, because they’re all Democrats, and they can’t go against their allies..
